Automatic backwashing filtration systems are high-flow-rate solid-liquid separation filtration systems specifically designed to filter solid particles or colloids from liquid fluids, preventing downstream equipment blockage and reducing equipment maintenance costs. This system can be selected based on process parameters such as flow rate, working medium, solid particle content, and pressure, or it can be custom-designed to meet specific user requirements.
During normal operation, the filter media flows in through the system inlet, is filtered by the internal filter elements, and then flows out through the outlet. As impurities gradually accumulate on the surface of the filter elements, reducing their effective filtration area and causing the filter differential pressure to reach a predetermined value, the differential pressure transmitter outputs a signal to the control system. The control system then outputs a signal to start the motor for cleaning. During cleaning, the motor reducer drives the cleaning device to sweep the inner wall of the filter elements, removing impurities adhering to the surface and crevices. Under the pressure of the working medium, the accumulated impurities on the surface of the filter elements are quickly washed away and discharged from the drain port, restoring the filter to normal operating condition. The entire system does not need to be shut down during the cleaning cycle, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of downstream equipment.
